Layering lines and textures in Silver

I use line as a strong visual design element, through both texture and form.

The Ice and Rain Brooch

composed of a fine silver metal clay branch, a broom casting and fabricated linear silver strips for the stone setting at the base. The stone is a very pretty blue moonstone, mostly transparent with an opalescent blue sheen.

The second photo below shows you the back of the pin and stone setting.

I finished two other silver pendants.
A silver acorn charm

and Oaken Moon, a chased oak leaf hanging under an abstract linear moon.

What's next?
I have those steel chestnut leaves to finish up, a copper oak leaf pendant commission and all the other ideas floating around my mind and studio.
