I think I'm ready! for the Driftless Festival this weekend in Soldier's Grove, Wisconsin. I've been stocking up on leaves all week and will be preparing my booth and paperwork today and tomorrow.

X and I are still hoping to attend. We're debating between a quick trip there on Saturday before my nephew's party, or a longer trip on Sunday. Sunday looks cooler, so we're hoping to do it then ... if we aren't too beat. It's been one of those weeks where we've been on the go almost every day, but I REALLY want to attend (and wanted to even before I knew you were gonna be there).
Before I came to your site, I was himming and hawing about it, and X said, "but I really want to meet your blacksmith friend".
So, I hope to see you. I'll look for your gold doc martens. Most people recognize us by noticing X. That's what happened when we met Tony a few months back. ;)
