Arts Potluck and Community Conversation! Tuesday, July 31st from 6 – 9 pm at the Grandview Folk Art site just west of Hollandale, WI on Hwy 39
RSVP by responding to this email or calling Cont. Ed. at 608-342-1314 and leaving message for Heidi.
Join together with other SW Wisconsin artists, arts supporters and arts lovers in a lively discussion facilitated by Arts Wisconsin http://www.artswisconsin.org/, the state’s arts service, advocacy and development organization. Share what’s on your mind with people who understand what you are talking about, and get the latest on local, statewide and global arts and community issues, trends, news and ideas.
The event will include plenty of time to socialize, make music (bring along an instrument), eat a meal together and engage in an energizing conversation related to the arts in southwest Wisconsin. Bring a dish to pass, and plates, cups, napkins and utensils. ArtsBuild will provide a beverage!
The conversation will be led by Anne Katz, Executive Director, Arts Wisconsin, who will share her perspectives and knowledge about what’s happening in the world of the arts, in Wisconsin and beyond
You are a girl after my own heart! I LOVE YOUR WORK!
ReplyDeleteIf, it's ok with you I'd love to add you to my list of handcraft items. Please check it out and let me know.
My husband has been teaching me to weld. I am not that good..lol.. Ok, I am really bad at it. I am working on it tho.
Well I want to go read more of your blog but I just wanted to comment because I really was impressed with your work.

Oooh, this sounds like a fun event. (Of course, I am working that day! Aargh.)
ReplyDeleteryc: I will definitely post some pasted pages. I love seeing others' similar items, like journals and inspiration wires. I also bought a huge bulletin board the other day. I have decided if I will use it for function or inspiration, or both!
Anyhow, I have a lot of pasting to do. So far, I have been mostly going through magazines that I've held onto for TOO LONG. :)
Oh, man. I wish....I would bring rice and beans & my trustee old guitar so I could sing "Dirty Ole Egg Sucking Dog", a love song by Johnny Cash.
ReplyDeleteI would get my artsy fartsy ON. Hope you have lotsa fun.
I keep meaning to tell you: my boyfriend grew up in Kenosha. Is that anywhere near you?
